The research conference held at Mekdela Amba University, which focused on agriculture, technology, and natural sciences, concluded on February 23, 2025, after two consecutive days.
During the closing discussion of the conference, participants from Woldia and Wollo Universities shared their experiences on conducting collaborative research and enhancing research practices.
Dr. Agegn Shibesh, the Director of Research, Publication, and Ethics at Mekdela Amba University, expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the attendees. He stated, “We appreciate your willingness to share your experiences with us and the valuable knowledge and skills you bring to our future endeavors.”
Dr. Sileshi Abie, the Vice President of Academic, Research, Technology Transfer, and Community Service at the university, highlighted that the conference served as a vital platform for impactful research and collaboration. He emphasized that by engaging in thorough and effective research practices, significant challenges could be addressed, ultimately fostering enhanced support and collaborative opportunities among researchers.
Finally, researchers who presented their papers at the conference were awarded certificates in recognition of their contributions, symbolizing the successful culmination of the event.
