The Vice President for Education Programmes shall be accountable to the President of the University and shall have the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.Advise, assist and support the president in the exercise of his responsibilities;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2.Design ways and means of promoting the relevance and quality of the education Programme and activities of the University and supervise same;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3.Encourage and support members of the academic staff to develop their profession and to demonstrate excellence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4.Ensure the existence of a congenial learning environment for academic staff and learners;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5.Approve the employment of Teaching personnel;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6.Coordinate and direct the teaching learning, matters of the University;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7.Prepare and submit plans and performance reports to the President and follow up implementation of the plans;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
