As a matter of fact, many institutions, industries and governments put their ICT directorate right under the chief executive office within their institutional structure and at ministerial level when it comes to government structure. This supports the fact that an exhaustive use of ICT is a key for organizational success. The broad duty and responsibility of the ICT Directorate is to ensure proper deployment of ICT in teaching, learning, research and overall administration at MAU.<br>The main objective of ICT in Mekdela Amba University is to enhance learning, improve teaching methods, and promote student engagement. ICT can make learning more accessible, personalized, and collaborative, while also providing students with valuable skills.\u00a0It also supports the academic and administrative activity of the University for Swift and Quality Service Delivery.<br>Roles and Responsibilities<br>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0ICT Management:<br>Planning and Design:\u00a0Developing and implementing ICT strategies, policies, and plans to meet the university needs.<br>System Architecture:\u00a0Designing and overseeing the architecture of information systems, ensuring compatibility and integration.<br>Project Management:\u00a0Leading and coordinating ICT projects, from planning to implementation.<br>Stakeholder Engagement:\u00a0Communicating with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and ensuring alignment with business goals.<br>Technical Leadership:\u00a0Providing technical guidance and support to other ICT staff.\u00a0<br>2.\u00a0ICT Maintenance and Technical Support:<br>Troubleshooting:\u00a0Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware, software, and networks.<br>Hardware and Software Support:\u00a0Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.<br>User Training:\u00a0Providing training and support to users on using ICT systems and applications.<br>Help Desk:\u00a0Providing first-level support to users, answering queries and resolving basic issues.\u00a0<br>3.
