የመቅደላ አምባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሁለቱምን ግቢዎች ካውንስል አባላት የተሳተፉበት የ2016 ዓ.ም እቅድ አፈፃፀም ግምገማ እና የ2017 ዓ.ም እቅድ ትውውቅ መድረክ የዩኒቨርሲቲውን የመፈፀም አቅም ሊያሳድጉ በሚችሉ አበይት ጉዳዮች ላይ በመምከርና የቀጣይ ገዢ አቅጣጫዎችን በማስቀመጥ በስኬት ተጠናቋል፡፡
በ2016 ዓ.ም የእቅድ አፈጻጸም ሪፖርት ላይ ሰፊና ጥልቅ ግምገማ የተካሄደበት በጥንካሬ ከተገለፁት ተግባራት መካከል ዩኒቨርሲቲው በአስቸጋሪ ከባቢያዊና ሀገራዊ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ሆኖ የመካነሰላም ግቢ ተማሪዎችና መምህራንን ወደ ጊምባ ግቢ በማምጣትና ይህም የፈጠረውን ዘርፈ ብዙ ጫና በመቋቋም የመማር ማስተማር ስራው ምንም አይነት እንከን ሳይገጥመው በውጤታማነት መፈፀሙ፣ የማህበረሰብ አቀፍ ስራዎች በችግርም ውስጥ ተሁኖ በእቅዳቸው መሰረት መከናዎናቸው፣ አገር አቀፋዊ የምርምር ጉባኤን በማሰናዳት የእውቀት ሽግግር መደረጉ፣ ሀብት የሚያመነጩ ፕሮጀክቶች መስፋፋታቸው እና ውጤታማነታቸው እየተሸሻለ መሆኑ እንዲሁም የበይነ መረብ ትምህርት መስጫ መተግበሪያዎች መበልፀጋቸውና ትምህርት የተጀመረባቸው መሆኑ የሚሉት ጎልተው ተነስተዋል፡፡
በሌላ መልኩ የሰራተኛ ቅጥር አለመፈቀዱና በስራ ላይ ጫና መፍጠሩ፣ የሰው ሀብት አቅም ግንባታ ስራ በትኩረት ተይዞ አለመሰራቱ፣ የኢንተርኔትና የመብራት መቆራረጥ፣የተጀመሩ የመብራት እና የውሀ መስመር ዝርጋታዎች አለመጠናቀቅ፣ ምርምሮችንና የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ስራዎችን ተንቀሳቅሶ ለመስራት አለመቻል፣ በበጀት እጥረት ምክንያት ግንባታዎች በተቀመጠላቸው ጊዜ አለመጠናቀቅ እና በመካነሰላም ግቢ ተማሪዎችን ተቀብሎ ለማስተማር የሚመለከተው አካል ሀላፊነት አለመውሰዱ የሚሉት በችግርና በዕጥረት ተነስተዋል፡፡
በ2017 ዓ.ም እቅድ ትውውቅ ላይም ሰፋ ያሉ ሀሳቦች ተነስተው ውይይት የተደረገባቸው ሲሆን የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ካሳ ሻውል (ዶር) በተነሱ ጉዳዮች ላይ አስተያየታቸውንና ምላሻቸውን ሰጥተው የአዲሱን በጀት አመቱ ቁልፍ የርብርብና የአፈፃፀም አቅጣጫዎች አስቀምጠዋል፡፡ ከእነዚህም መካከል ጥቂቶቹ ትምህርት ጥራትን የሚያረጋግጡና የተማሪዎችን የመውጫ ፈተና የማለፍ ምጣኔ የሚያሳድጉ ተግባራት በቂ ቅድመ ዝግጅት ተደርጎባቸው ሳይንጠባጠቡና ሳይስተጓጎሉ መከናወን ያለባቸው መሆኑን፣ የምርምር፣ ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግርና የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ስራዎች ለተቋሙ ከተሰጡት ተልዕኮዎችና የልህቅት ማዕከሎች አንፃር እየተቃኙ በተቀመጠላቸው ጊዜና በጀት መሰረት በጥብቅ የአሰራር ስርዓት ሊፈፀሙ እንደሚገባ፣ ለአሰራር ቅልጥፍናና ለመማር ማስተማር ስራው ወሳኝ የሆኑ የቴክኖሎጂ ተግበራዎች በእጅጉ መጠናከር ያለባቸው መሆኑ፣ በየደረጃው ያለውን አመራርና ፈፃሚ የመፈፀም አቅም ሊያሻሽሉ የሚችሉ ስልጠናዎችን በውል ማደራጀትና መምራት አስፈላጊ መሆኑን፣ወደ 2017 ዓ.ም የተሸጋገሩ እና በበጀት አመቱ የሚሰሩ የፕሮጀክት ስራዎችን በተፈቀደ አቅም ልክ ቆጥሮ ይዞ ማከናወን እንደሚገባና ሁሉም ስራ ክፍል ተቀናጅቶና ተናቦ ለጋራ ተቋማዊ ግብ ሊረባረብ ይገባል የሚሉት ይገኙበታል፡፡

The evaluation of the implementation of the 2024 plan and the 2025 plan orientation, in which the members of both campuses council of Mekdela Amba University participated, was successfully completed by advising on key issues that can increase the university’s ability to perform and setting important directions for the new year plan implementation.
In the 2024 plan implementation report, among the activities that were strongly expressed, in difficult environmental and national conditions the teaching and learning work was carried out effectively by shifting students and teachers from Mekaneselam campus to Tulu Awliya campus, community service activities even in the midst of difficulties were able to carried out according to the plans, the transfer of knowledge by preparing a national research conference, the expansion of wealth-generating projects and their effectiveness is running away, as well as the fact that online Internet education applications have flourished and education has started.
On the other hand, due to not allowing the hiring of workers creating pressure on works , the lack of focus on human resource development, the problems of internet and power interruption, electricity and water line constructions not being completed, not being able to carry out research and community service works properly due to lack of peace, not being able to complete constructions on time due to lack of budget and inability to accept and teach students in the Mekanselam campus have arisen as problems and shortages.
In the orientation of the plan for 2025, a wide range of ideas were raised and discussed, and the president of the university, Kassa Shaul (Dr.), gave his opinion and response on the issues raised and set the key strategies and implementation directions for the new fiscal year. Among them, some of the activities that ensure the quality of education and increase the exit exam passing rate of students should be done in advance without any interruptions, research, technology transfer and community service works should be carried out in accordance with the established time, budget, missions and centers of excellences given to the institution, important technological applications should be greatly strengthened, and it is important to organize and manage trainings that can improve the leadership and executive capacity at all levels, the project works carried over to the year 2025 should be carried out in the budget year according to the approved capacity, in addition, all works should be coordinated and planned for a common institutional goal.
