Mekdela Amba University signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dessie Tissue Culture, W/ro. Siheen, Akesta and Mekaneslem Polytechnic Colleges, Amhara Media Corporation and Dessie Fana FM on education and training, research and technology transfer, and image building key activities.
Shumet Asefa (PhD), Head of the President Office of Mekdela Amba University, said that it is important for institutions coordinate their capabilities and strengthen their cooperation to achieve their missions and play their roles in local and national economic development, knowledge and technology transfer in his opening speech.
The heads of the institutions who attended the signing program also stated during the discussion that the partnership and cooperation agreement will enable them to achieve their common missions by integrating and utilizing the strengths of each institution, and will also create a great potential to achieve better results by overcoming shortcomings and bottlenecks.
