Mekdela Amba University, in collaboration with Wollo University Training and Consultation Workshop on Grant Writing for Sustainable Development held on December 20/ 2024.
Wollo University, shared experiences to Mekdela Amba University, with experienced scholars on how to prepare projects and how to bring them together, and how to work together with government and non-government organizations.
In his opening speech, Dr. Sileshi Abei, Vice President for Academic, Research, Technology Transfer and Community service of the university, said that our environment is the owner of many blessings, so if we work hard and pay attention, we have the opportunity to benefit our environment beyond ourselves.
The Director of the Research, Publication and Ethics Director of the University of Mekdela Amba, Dr. Agene Shibeshi (Dr.), for his part, noted that the training provided today will serve as a benchmark for future work and will help the reseachers to do work that is beneficial for the country, the environment, and themselves.
The trainees, for their part, said that the experience shared by Wollo University is useful and motivating for work, but there should be sincere cooperation from the university to address the problems encountered during the implementation of the work.
